Appeal for the conversion of an agricultural barn to a residential dwelling

Bloomfields Chartered Town Planners are delighted to have successfully won an appeal for the conversion of a former poultry barn into a residential dwellng, overcoming initial refusal from the Local Planning Authority.

On appeal, Bloomfields clearly demonstrated that the building was not viable for alternative uses and that its change of use into a dwelling would be in keeping with the rural character of the National Landscape, and would not harm the visual or environmental quality of the area in accordance with local and national policies.
