Agricultural building secured to house robots

Prior notification was sought for the erection of an agricultural barn and yard area to house robots to support a soft fruit enterprise. Approval was given for the proposal by the Council without delay, allowing for the innovative robotics highways project to be run sustainably. The farm is a partner in the biggest agri-tech robotics demonstration project in the UK funded by Innovate UK (£2.6 m) under their Transforming Food Production framework, with the building being required to house the robots securely and to charge them.
