Prior approval was granted by Tonbridge and Malling Borough Council for the construction of an irrigation reservoir which has the cubic capacity to be covered by the reservoir act. The reservoir was allowed under the permitted development legislation and will provide much needed irrigation water for the large scale baby leaf salad grower, providing much needed water security during this time of climatic change.
