Bloomfields has successfully recently obtained planning permission for a new build farm worker’s dwelling to support a mixed 500 acre beef and lamb enterprise family farm.
The dwelling provides for 160m2 of living accommodation for our clients and their young, growing family. The house comprises four bedrooms, family bathroom, open plan kitchen/diner, as well as a downstair w/c, utility room and bespoke farm office.
Bloomfields successfully demonstrated it was absolutely essential for the farm manager to reside at this particular site for the welfare of the farm’s animals as well as demonstrating that no other dwelling in the local village would serve this necessary function.
Our clients will soon be able to lamb their 550 ewes from only 50 metres from their front door, with no more midnight commutes to the farm buildings!
