Prior approval was sought for the construction of an irrigation reservoir to provide just under 5.5 million gallons of water storage over an area of 1.4ha. After considering the agricultural justification and reasoning for providing the reservoir in that location, the Council granted prior approval for the reservoir including all construction works. Bloomfields also successfully made the case that an Environmental Impact Assessment would not be required.
