Prior approval granted for earthworks

Prior notification has been approved for the engineering operations to undertake cut and fill groundworks to provide a level platform for plant propagation, as well as a drainage basin to attenuate water.
A thorough case had to be made to the Council to explain that the works were allowed under permitted development and were necessary for the agricultural operations at the holding. Prior approval was granted without delay by Maidstone Borough Council who accepted the principle and justification without question.
