Bloomfields were approached after their client needed to gain retrospective planning permission for two barns, which were being used on a seasonal rotation to house livestock, hay and machinery.

The site already had extant permission for two machinery workshops elsewhere on the site, which Bloomfields obtained in 2021. Bloomfields used this to justify the provision of the additional buildings and provide substantive arguments to explain why livestock now needed to be housed, in addition to machinery, and how the landscape impact would be minimal based on previous acknowledgments of the Local Planning Authority.

The above enabled the planning balance to be addressed and retrospective permission was granted.
