Major Residential Development and Community Facility Granted Planning Permission

Bloomfields were delighted to have obtained outline planning permission for a new residential development and village hall on an allocated site in the Borough of Tunbridge Wells.

Bloomfields provided important planning policy input into the scheme evolution, produced a supporting Planning Statement and submitted the application.  Subsequently, acting as agent, we led on the important negotiations with the Local Planning Authority, providing the necessary clarification and information to demonstrate that all material planning considerations had been satisfactorily addressed and providing the confidence through the thoroughness of the application submission that the scheme would deliver a high-quality and sustainable form of development on the edge of an existing village, in accordance with the relevant planning policy.

This site also demonstrated effective collaboration with our Lambert & Foster colleagues who worked on behalf of the site owners in respect of setting up a Promotion Agreement with a national land promoter.
